Since our wedding will take place in the very popular Sonoma Valley during its high season, we have reserved a number of rooms for Saturday and Sunday nights at the El Pueblo Inn and the Sonoma Creek Inn. They are motels in the town of Sonoma, about a 15 minute drive from the wedding site. In order to reserve one of these rooms (for two nights), please contact us directly (not the hotels!) so we can make the arrangements.
If you would like to make your own arrangements, there are many inns, bed and breakfasts, and spa-type resorts in the area... we have found that many places are booked SEVERAL MONTHS in advance, so please think about reserving as soon as possible!
The Glen Elly Inn is a B&B which is close to the wedding site and is probably the least expensive inn of its type in the area.
The Glen Ellen Inn cottages are very nice, quiet and private, and are also close to BR Cohn. We looked at them during a fact-finding mission to the area, and they seemed like a lot of luxury for a (relatively-for the area!) low-ish price.
For guests who would like to stay close to the wedding site on SUNDAY NIGHT ONLY (they are already booked for Saturday night), we suggest you try the Jack London Lodge in Glen Ellen. A reasonably priced motel very close to BR Cohn, with a pool and restaurant. We checked out the rooms here, too, and thought they were fine.
Other places in the area include:
If you want to go all out -- there's always the Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa.
